It all started…
with Fairmount being an early 20th-century residential district around two miles south of downtown Fort Worth, about 375 acres in a rectangular shape. The residential district was thriving before World War II. Fairmount was a fashionable neighborhood occupied by professionals like doctors, lawyers, and business executives. But after the war, the neighborhood fell into shambles. Today, many property owners are looking to restore Fairmount to its former glory.
Funky Picnic Brewpub in Fairmount
Our brewpub “Funky Picnic and Cafe” opened its doors in 2019. Born in a Fort Worth garage amongst friends, brewing and enjoying beer circa 2012.
Much like its humble beginnings, our microbrewery is a place for everyone to relax and enjoy great beer amongst friends, new and old. A place to learn, experiment, and try new things.
